UKSA Spa Industry Salary Survey - Results to be announced

The UKSA launched a much-anticipated Spa Industry Salary Survey. The survey includes questions on salaries both nationally and regionally for Therapists and Spa Managers, plus questions on additional benefits.

The survey ran for a two-week duration and is now closed. The results will be delivered at the UKSA Winter Networking Event on 20th November at Armathwaite Hall in the Lake District, as well as being made available to all UKSA members and anyone who contributed to the survey.

Bobby Griffiths, UKSA General Manager said, ’We have chosen to celebrate National Spa Week this year, slightly differently, by highlighting the people who make it possible, our teams! The one question we are constantly asked, is what are realistic salaries and benefits in the sector. This survey will not only give insight Nationally but also Regionally as well, so the industry can have a real gauge. Any spa director, spa manager or general manager can fill in the survey, they don’t need to even be a UKSA member but by doing so they will contribute to the growth of the industry and will be able to see the final results report.’

The survey forms part on an ongoing body of work by the UK Spa Association to look into the future of the industry, how we encourage people into the industry, how we train them and how we retain them. Recent Regional Spa Leadership meetings have started the conversation and there are further initiatives planned for early next year.
