Training never looked so good

uksa sug 2018

Have you ever thought about using apprenticeships to train and upskill your staff?

Why are apprenticeships important?

An apprenticeship is an excellent alternative to traditional training. It not only offers the chance to ‘earn while you learn’, but it is also a more practical approach to learning. By offering your staff the chance to undertake an apprenticeship, they’ll not only be able to upskill within the comfort and capacity of your business, they will also be able to implement the theory they learn immediately whilst working.

How they work?

Apprenticeships are open to people of all ages and different stages of a career. There are different levels available to suit the needs of an individual learner, for example, Beauty Therapy Level 2 & 3 or Nails Level 2 & 3. There are also Professional Apprenticeships on offer, namely, Customer Service or Team Leading and Supervising courses.

How can your spa benefit?

Apprenticeships are not like a standardised college course, they are tailored to fit the needs of both the individual and your business. As well as a bespoke programme, your spa will benefit from a dedicated training assessor, who will work with your staff (whether it’s one person or a group) to get them the qualifications they need to support your business. Apprentices not only gain a valuable qualification at the end of the course, but they are also left with key transferable and functional skills, such as maths and English qualifications along with an increased sense of confidence. All training is relevant, and training assessors keep up-to-date with developments within the industry to help keep your spa innovative and ‘on-trend’, in what is such a competitive and ever-changing industry.

How can we help?

At Interserve Learning & Employment, we offer bespoke and tailored support throughout our courses. We offer a range of apprenticeships, including:

  • • Beauty Therapy Level 2 & 3 (both general and massage routes)
  • • Nails Level 2 & 3
  • • Hairdressing Level 2 & 3
  • • Barbering Level 2 & 3
  • • Customer Service
  • • Team Leading

Our apprenticeships offer training both in and out of the workplace, helping your employees interact with others in the industry and gain essential knowledge of theory behind more practical tasks. This all-round experience ensures your business gains the maximum potential from your employees.
